The Irish Film Institute is Ireland’s national cultural institution for film. It aims to exhibit the finest in independent, Irish and international cinema, preserve Ireland’s moving image heritage at the Irish Film Archive, and encourage engagement with the film through its various educational programs. IFI Education actively introduces new audiences to film culture and provides young people throughout Ireland with access to challenging and inspiring cinema. This is achieved through an extensive schools program. From a newly refurbished IFI we are delighted to bring you and your students our brand new programme of carefully selected films, including documentary features, anime, coming-of-age stories and much more. Outside Dublin, we have major film tours to partner venues nationwide, supporting French, German and Spanish language learners at both Senior and Junior Cycle.
