The Mobile Music School runs workshops, extra-curricular instrument classes in primary and secondary schools across Ireland. Over the past number of years, we have found that our music workshops for schools are invaluable in equipping young people with the skills they need as they move towards adulthood and the workplace. We deliver classroom projects, short programmes lasting six or 10 weeks, once-off music workshops and after school classes. We also offer music workshops to transition year classes throughout the country. TY workshops that we offer 'Let’s Drum', an interactive drumming workshop that gives every student the opportunity to perform on a range of drums and percussion instruments. 'Let’s Sing', gives every student a voice and equips them with the necessary skills to project their voice correctly. This workshop covers come repertoire and culminates in an end of workshop performance of the material covered. 'Let’s Perform' is a musical theatre workshop that culminates in the performance of a snippet from a well-known musical such as the Greatest Showman or the Sound of the 80s. Our workshops last 80 minutes and during a visit you can book us to work with one, two or three groups.
