The Marsh’s Library tour for schools includes a brief history of Marsh’s and a look at the points of interest in the library as they move through the old reading room & the two galleries. Taking note of the portraits of famous figures from Marsh’s past, spotting the bullet holes that remain in books from the time of the Easter Rising, and then on to the cages where readers were locked in to stop them from stealing the books.
