School tours are very much welcomed to Athlone Castle where students will receive a guided tour of Athlone Castle visitor centre, castle keep and castle grounds. They will receive a guided tour of the exhibitions and artifacts on display. Their guides will encourage students to engage with the spaces, dress up and ensure they see all of the galleries while providing stories about the history of the town, castle and people of Athlone.
