The Organic Centre has over 20 years’ experience working with schools and welcomes primary and secondary school classes from across the Island of Ireland. The Centre offers bespoke workshops and tours for children aged 4+. All our workshops/tour are hands on, and can include biodiversity, bug hunts, butterfly trails, primary science, tours of the garden, seed planting, workshops on climate change and growing your own food, food production. We have on site classrooms for hire, and have on site catering if needed. We can also come out to schools and we are a member of SEED (Schools Earth Education Development) which involves collaboration with 5 other members to promote organic gardening as an outdoor classroom, curriculum-based activity in primary and secondary schools.
