With our unrivaled outdoor activity venue, access to the beautiful Blessington Lakeshore, and as proud caretakers of the Blessington Greenway, there is something for everyone at The Avon. Immerse your school students in the peaceful serenity of the lakes or do battle with our epic, custom-built, playground. Let us create the perfect group adventure package from wilderness walking to wind-whipped water activities, from peaceful greenway biking to peaceful (yoga) posing, with archery, climbing/abseiling and zip-lining in between. The normal school activity day we run is from 10am to 3pm with a break for lunch approx 45 mins in between. Depending on numbers we offer up to 9 rotations - archery; climbing wall & zipline; team tasks; canoeing/kayaking; bushcraft and orienteering -roughly 40 minutes per each session (depending on the size of the group). The cost of the programme is €40pp (inclusive of VAT) and we can add lunch for €5pp.
